Evaluation criteria: A student’s marking period grade will be determined as follows: 30% Assignments
30% Quiz
40% Tests
Grading Scale: 100-93% A 69-67% D+
92-90% A- 66-63% D

Semester grade composition: Each trimester will count as 80% of the semester grade. The exam will count as 20% of the semester grade.
Late Assignments: There is no penalty for late/missing assignments; however, late work must be completed after school in the classroom with a math teacher.
Make-up work: The school policy for excused absences will be followed. When a student misses a day of school they have one day to make the work up. It will be the responsibility of the student to collect missed work. If a student collects their work in advance of an absence then it should be completed upon return to school.
Test/Quiz Retakes: Retakes are allowed once all homework related to the assessment is completed. The student will earn the better of the two scores.
Extra Credit: No extra credit assignments will be given.
